I live in Minnesota and have a heated coop. unusually, they started laying in January and now 1 of 4 is laying. Any suggestions? Suns out longer, weather is better? I have no clue

Thats good to know! Do you know how long their breaks are?
They can take as long as they want, we had an EE stop laying for a whole 2 months before, give her laying pellets, see if that helps, im not much of an expert though, good luck with your look up some sites and see what to give her, nutrients, etc.

I wouldn't worry to much unless your Silkies start acting different to what they usually do.

My three pullets are relatively new layers but they also take brakes like what @Duck_life says.

My white pullet was a regular layer but she's obviously decided she wants a break. The temps here have started to rise too and there is more bugs and plants for her to rummage around. She's enjoying the free range life!

She's not broody and she's getting a great diet with grit and oyster shells to.

However, it's not to say this isn't a sign of something else with your hens. These things can sometimes mean something is wrong. Just keep an eye!
