We have recently moved to Blackstone, VA and I promised the kids they could each pick a couple chicken breeds this time. My youngest really wants silkies but the hatchery was sold out when I ordered our other chicks. I would like to buy some chicks locally. He likes buff or splash the best, but other colors would be fine. We do not need show-quality as these are simply for our enjoyment and hopefully to make good broody hens. Thanks!
