Silkies

I am looking for one to three silkie pullets in red, buff, paint, partridge, or splash. I have been on Craigslist daily for a year, and none of my local breeders will sell me just pullets. All require that I take a rooster as well. Unfortunately for me, I've already been forced to re-home my rooster due to my town ordinance, so I am just not able to purchase roosters. I only have two hens and as loved and spoiled as they are, they'd flourish with another girl or two to have around. Healthy, yes, but I'm not necessarily looking for show birds - mine are strictly loved pets. I'm in Rhode Island.

Perhaps team up with a friend or someone to take the rooster off your hands if you bought the trio or the group of silkies from your local breeders?
