I personally bathe my splashes in dog whitening shampoo. It's usually lavender to purple in color, you can even get it a Walmart. I dilute the shampoo with some water before I apply it and put some in the basin I am bathing them in. It really brightens the white and gets rid of most the dirt stains. I have read that some people simply keep their show birds in cages to keep them away from the dirt.

Don't feed them purina, I have read that it has marigold in it and can turn them a yellowish color.

Really!!!

That's good to know!
We feed Dumor.

If your bird likes to face drink then hit the feeder for a quick bite then you'll have to change the type of waterer for that bird. Keep it out of the sun.

If its not the day before a show and your bird wants to take a mud bath, let it. The results are absolutely amazing.

I wouldnt be feeding Dumor either!!!
It has a vitamin defency and can cause your birds to be deathly ill!!!

You can feed Purina Gamebird it doesnt have maragold just Layena and flock raiser!

Ok heres how to keep white
keep 100% out of sun!!!
keep on 1x1 inch wire bottom cages for older birds and 1X1/2inch wire bottom for younger!
feed a feed that is low in corn, corn turns yellow faster then anything!
use a strong whitening shampoo never use a dark blu/purple this will be very hard to wash out and judge will disqualify you for faking!
basically thats it I dont do much more then that!
