My silkies are about 7 months old. They are buff and they dont look so fluffy on their heads, whats the average age do they get really "fluffy"

well some silkies dont get that fluffy, it depends on their quality. are ur birds from a hatcherie or breeder?

Probably hatchery . I knew I didnt get good breeds. But I love them ! Hopefully in the future I can find a good breeder.Im from Arizona and its hard to find one here

kay then they probley wont get that fluffy, i have 3 from a hatchiery one looks like she got a buzz cut while the other 2 have little pointed pompoms (if you can call them that) but you could get eggs or birds shipped to you or go to poultry shows around your area and 4h shows sometimes have some good silkies too.
