will blk hen and wht rooster produce paint babies. what about lavender hen and blk rooster. new at this and want to know what color mix brings what color babies.

Typical white will not produce paint. You need a white bird from a paint breeding, which is dominant, not recessive white. A better breeding is paint to black (gender for each does not matter)

lavender crossed to black will give you blacks split to lav.

how do u know what colors u can mix and what color the babies would be....I know the normal blk/blk , wht/wht..and so on. but what about splash...lavender...I am just getting started. I have 5 paint,4 white,1 blk,1lavender.
