Silky Bantam Eggs?

I have 4 month old silkys and I know alot about them exept I have never thought about having eggs until now.. even though they have a nest box heehee!! I know I sound like I dont know anything about chicken but really belive me I DO! I just kow that BYC would be able to accuatly answer these questions! thankyou for your time!

1) Can you eat silky bantam eggs?
2) Do they taste any different from the usaul?
3) Could they make you sick?
4) How do you clean it to eat?
5) What color are they?

Yes
2) Do they taste any different from the usaul?
Not, really unless you have a really sensitive palate.
3) Could they make you sick?
No, unless they are spoiled.
4) How do you clean it to eat?
Just wash eggs to remove any dirt or residue.
5) What color are they?
White to Tan variation.
6) Do you eat your silkys eggs?
Yes, I feed them to the kids too as they are smaller.

Normally they are 2/3 the size of standard eggs

so about 3 banty eggs would be equivalent to 2 standard eggs.
