Silky Chicken making strange noises

Can anybody help me please, my silkie chicken is making a strange noise. I dont remember my other silkie making this noise.

That sounds like he or she is trying to crow. How old is your Silkie? Do you know yet if it is male or female?

I had a couple of Silkie hens and they used to make some strange noises; one used to screech like a peacock.

I think your silkie is trying to crow, it takes them awhile. Maybe he is tone deaf
