Is this silky a rooster or a hen? I don't know old it is either.

Check to see if it has spurs on it. Usually rooster only have spurs.

That's a very stunning rooster.

It does not have Spurs and have not heard it Crow yet either. Someone dumped it in my neighborhood so now I have a silky.

To me it looks like a hen, only because the wattle is small on the bird. If it was a rooster it would have huge wattles.

They dumped him because he was a roo.

I got 2 roosters that way.

Hens don't have a Walnut comb. His is likely small because he's either young, malnourished and/or was not the dominant roo.

No more than one year old in my opinion.
