That one good looking little punk rock chicken you have there!Yeah the bigger silkie is the only one who will fight with my polish. I’m almost certain the polish is a rooster by the way it struts around and carries itself. It also likes to start fights. We noticed that with our older four roosters.

Wow!! So they crow pretty late.My male (photo'd to the left) crowed for the first time around a year old.... Priscilla is now Preston. lol

My current boys, cuckoo maran and speckled Sussex, are trying to crow at almost 9 weeksSilkies crow anywhere between 4-12 months in my experience.
