Silly Boy

I wish I could have heard him! They don't let me stay with him while he has the MRI, and he was asleep by the time they brought him back to his room. He has a great imagination so I can only imagine the stories he told them.

Handsome little guy you have there :hugs
I bet that story with sound effects was so cute and priceless.

That is so cute. I’m going through similar tests as your little dude, although we’re not sure if my seizures are epilepsy based or not. Apparently I’m pretty funny when I’m doped up too. Good luck to you and your family, he sounds like an awesome kid, and congrats on the good results!! I’m all for chicken therapy too. :love

@Tesumph I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully you will get some answers soon! He had to have 3 EEG's before we got any answers. Awake his EEG's are normal, but when he is drowsy/sleeping he has sparks.
I haven’t had an EEG yet.. but I strongly feel it wouldn’t show anything. Starting to suspect it’s actually a heart related issue. I don’t think we’ll ever get clear cut answers lol, we’re slowly controlling it but I’m not sure if it’s through the medication or stress control.
Pain in the butt either way! Glad to hear it’s on the up and up for y’all. Good thing most kids grow out of childhood epilepsy.

It's so frustrating when you don't get a clear answer. We are hoping he grows out of his, he's been on the Keppra for almost a year now, after he's been on it 2 years he'll have another EEG. If that shows normal he'll get slowly weaned off his medicine and then have another EEG to see what kind of activity he has. I'll probably have all gray hair by the end of this, lol.

Dealing with doctors and tests and medical bills.. I hate it with a passion, I really feel your pain. I’ve been on keppra for two months and have gone from 1-3 seizures a day (!!!) to 1 every 1-2 weeks. I found out this weekend how much the heat effects me on these meds... not fun at all. At this point I don’t know if I should be hoping I have epilepsy or not haha! Your son sounds like he has a good attitude about it though.
