Her cagemates kept laying eggs with her, so they all hatched 2 days apart, over 2 weeks' time. But she sure was trying! And the male did set the eggs as well, it was very cute. Often they'd both be on the nest, which is probably why they hatched so well

Yeah, tonight they are sitting back-to-back on the nest. It's really sweet. They are so close to each other that their tail feathers are sticking straight up in the air. It's a fun experience... even if the eggs don't hatch.
