My weekly art piece I did today. It was a fairly quick sketch and I'm glad that I had a few minutes to do at least something this week:

And then here's a bonus picture. I took this a few days ago, but have been wanting to share. In the new birds, there's a bonded pair, Blizzard (rooster) and Swirly (hen, and I think that's what the previous owner said her name was?). It's really sweet, but sadly, it looks like they're going to be separated tomorrow morning as I've found someone who'll take the extra roosters, then I have someone who'll be taking the extra hens I don't keep whenever I'm ready to let them go. I haven't really had to separate a bonded pair before, so it's going to be sad. Anyway, here's the picture of them together:

The four roosters went to their new home this morning. I had to deliver, but it wasn't far and it looks like the person is willing to take any other roosters I might have in the future.

Yeah, though those weren't mine until a few days ago, lol. Sadly, the one up front, I would have loved to have kept, but he had given a few looks/behaved that made me question if he'd be mean if he didn't have any other roosters around to keep him in line. They were all very pretty regardless.

I'm thinking of naming this girl Lucy III. She likely had a name already, which I want to find out next time I see the previous owners.

I have a picture for today, but it's still on my camera, so if I don't get the chance to upload it later, I'll have to get a picture of something with my phone instead.

I meant to upload my picture then, but I didn't get a chance to upload it onto my laptop, or get a different picture. Anyway, my picture is of American Robins. They have finally came back for the season, which was an exciting sight:

Because of the holiday, I was avoiding BYC, so I didn't get a chance to upload anything then. I did get a picture of the moon that night, and was able to capture a branch in front of it. It's not a great picture, as it could have been better if I was using a stand, but I'm still happy I was able to capture it:

Life's been busy, so again, no uploading that day. I did capture a picture of the syrup we were finishing off. This batch is dark as it was starting to cloud, plus it had some sludge which was caught in the filter. The sludge is that foam you see around the edge. If it wasn't at the stage it was at, I would have been skimming that off instead of waiting for the filter to get it:

Today, I believe five years ago now, is when my dog, Sterling, came to live with me as my first and very own dog. He's nearly eight years old, lazy like always, but just as cuddly as he was when I first got him. I interrupted him from his breakfast to take a quick picture of him:

It was my birthday! One of my favorite things on birthdays is the birthday cards, and my Mom got me this card and had to edit the writing a little. She said everything fitted except for this one thing: I don't drink coffee.

This will be the last day of this little fun thing. I think it's Blueberry (one of my new hens) who is laying her egg on this shelf that's in my spare coop, instead of the nesting box I have for them. I'm planning on moving the new birds into my flock tonight, so she'll *hopefully* will be laying her eggs in my flock's nesting boxes.
