Mine did exactly the same thing a couple weeks ago when I did their clean out. They were totally freaked out by the fresh white pine shavings. So they pig piled in the pop door & wouldnt go any further! Till I pushed them all in thru the door! By the morning they were all fine w/ their new shavings. I'm sure I'll be dealing w/ the "what is that white stuff on the ground" soon enough! Silly silly chickens!!!
