I thought I would share my latest chicken behavior.
Now that it has (for the most part) thawed up North I have began spring planting. My girls (EE's) would shift through the dirt that I would be mixing and getting ready for seeds. They had a blast finding and picking at worms and a poor garter snake they thought was a worm. Since they have been starting to follow me around the yard hopping into holes I dig looking for bugs/worms making it hard to get anything done!!! So now I have to dig multiple holes and wait for them to leave one so I can go back to it and do my planting.
They have been able to put two and two together and only follow me when I carry a shovel. Clever girls of mine!!!
