my 6 monthold ee still aint laying! i wanna see what color her ggs will be! hopefull green!

I know it is hard to wait. My one EE laid her first egg at just under 7 months old. One day I get a green egg the next a blue.

What are your night-temps like there??
Are you supplimenting the light in the coop??

Our are still laying, even tho I reduced the # of light hours per day...

I have just a 100w Compact Fluorescent bulb on a timer for 8 hours a day, and they have a coop where the temps never go below 50f....

cold temps and low lights usually means no eggs till spring!

well its never got below freezing cept for the night it snowed. no no light except for a porchlight at night!
