Silly question about my calls

I have 3 two month old call ducks, one of which is looking a little rough. Most of her feathers look like they're hanging by a string, especially the ones on her sides. My question is, do ducks lose feathers this time of year? I've noticed a lot of feathers around the duck run, but they're all white. This one is mostly black with some white on her chest. I also have two all white females. I'm still fairly new to this duck thing so I didn't know if they lose feathers in preparation for thicker ones for winter?

Well, so far in my experience, some baby Calls can be awfully hard on the plumage...the new chocolate pullet, "Snickers", that I got is pretty rough too but seems to be losing her rough feathers. I also have one youngster who has gotten stuck on his back several times and messed his feathers up pretty good...he'll need to molt before he looks right again.

Same thing is happening here with my little Calls.
I told my husband the other day I could make a feather pillow out of all of the duck feathers out around their pen.
