I just saw another post about someone who cleaned their incubator in the dishwasher. It showed after, when s/he had the next set of eggs in the bator. They were all in the middle? Is this how they are supposed to be set? Or does it matter? I have been setting mine starting at the side, and have never had it full. It now has half the turner trays taken out as well.

Not sure, but it probably really doesn't matter.

And that's not a silly question. No questions that you ask about chickens or eggs are silly or dumb!

(unless it is something like when someone tells how an egg exploded in there face or their chicken did something really funny.) Those are silly! LOL

I put mine in lines in the bator not all in the middle, I hand turn so it makes it easyer to turn/roll them, I have never had a problem doing this. I imagine it has somthing to do with the sides of the bator, they could be cooler !!! That would be my guess !!! But i'm sure either way is fine !!! I would be more worried about the temps and hum that where the eggs are sitting !!!!
