Silly Question about Thunder and Lightning?

Do you put your chickiens in the coop when it storms, or do they know enough to go in themselves? Silly I know.... its the first storm since they have been outside!!!

I think their mama would teach them to seek shelter in a storm. I'd put them inside.

Mine usually stand out in the rain, but the run is mostly covered so I don't coop them. They just seem to not mind it.

Never overestimate the intelligence of a chicken--some head for shelter as soon as the first drop of rain hits while others seem to ignore it. And this isn't always the same chickens, just different days.
