Thanks lil' buddy ol' mine... just the answer I wanted to hear!When I was in a developmental biology lab, we injected rubbing alcohol into the air space of some hatching eggs. The alcohol had no significant effect on the embryos. I cannot imagine that the tiny amount of alcohol present in a sharpie line will affect anything, and I use permanent marker to mark my own eggs.
