Silly question? Do the fake Owls deter hawks?

Owls hunt at night and hawks hunt during the day. They don't hunt each other so I doubt the fake owl is going to worry a hawk.

This hawk business is really getting to me.. I have tried all of the tricks to deter a hawk only to find them sitting next to the deterent stalking the chickens... Now two chickens are dead following a few days of stalking. Looks like there will be no free ranging for them anymore.
