Silly question...does anyone let their Chickens swim like Ducks?

Oh, No I wasn't going to put them in enough water to swim. Just some to play in and get rid of some of that dust. They are only about 6 weeks old anyway. BUT very dusty. It's ok they are getting out of the brooder this weekend and into the coop...finally.
Thanks fo rthe replies

Last Month when it was soooo hot here I took my two silkies for a dunk in the kiddie pool.
At first they didn't much care for it but after I made them stand there for a while they cuaght on.
Roxy (the smarter of the two) began bending slightly to get her breast wet then stand up and flap. Gorgia would just walk around a few seconds and hop out.

It was all fun and games until Roxy poo'd the pool and the party was over.

our chickens hate water, unless its for drinking! When we are going to be gone for the day we keep the chickens in their run (its huge) and put a mister in the back of the run by the neighbors fence...that way we know they arent going to fly over when we are gone, they wont go near enough to fly over then if the mister is there....but I do hold them in the mister on hot pays if they are panting...they dont seem to mind, but they will never put themself in the mist. I also turn on the sprinklers on the side yard to keep the chickens in the back yard when they are free ranging.

I actually thought you meant a rooster when you said mister...
