Silly Question

Sorry to ask this- I feel like silly for asking....do chickens just pee? I have one that drinks more than the other girls do, and from time to time, she simply pees. I would think that is normal, but I never noticed it with the other fine feathered ladies (Our gang of chickens).

Chickens don't have urine in the same sense that we do. Birds have evoloved to save weight when in flight, so they form uric acid, which is more solid than urine. That said, they do have watery droppings, from time to time, and those can be very clear.

I had a hen that was feeling under the weather, and her droppings were clear for a few days.
