On the side of a knoll...
What do you put your chicken in when sticking it in the refrigerator, before cooking it?

We haven't gotten this far yet with our chickens so I have some learning to do before my DH goes to slaughtering.

I have only done one so far, but I put mine in the food saver bags worked great!
Though them bags can get expensive, but will work well in the freezer.

Yes, container..... And another silly Q... What is brine?

We're big fans of ziplock bags.

Brine is salt water or a generic term for liquid with salt and/or sugar. You can brine chicken in buttermilk with salt and/or sugar added. Most folks brine in salt water at about a teaspoon of salt per quart of water.
