Silly question

I have been hatching eggs for years now. And I have always wondered about something. What counts as day one? The day the eggs are set or the next day. Example: turkey eggs take 28 days, do I count the day I set them as day one? Thanks for any info.

Ok...if you set your eggs today at noon, then tomorrow at noon is day 1. The next day at noon becomes day 2 and so on.
