I love it!
I take tiny scissors and trim mine so they can see. It helps them so much. You can't trim if you plan on showing them is my understanding.

The bright light was the flash. She probably was kind of blind after I took those photos.

Aww, c'mon PC...there's nothing wrong with girls wanting to be pampered a little now and then! I really wanted to find her some cute ones that looked like flowers or butterflies, but iridescent pastels will have to do for now.

I forgot to add that the clips are small enough they really don't weigh a lot, so she hasn't tried to shake it off her head. I tried a loosely wrapped rubber band, but that just came out, and I didn't want to put it in tightly because...well...any woman who has had a rubberband wrapped up in her hair will know what a literal pain it is. I didn't want to try to trim her feathers because I was scared I might poke her in the eye.

No, not yet. It wouldn't matter if she was, anyway. She's got no man because of the fox. Boris was beautiful!

I need a black roo to get more like her. As soon as I manage to get a SQ male, I'll be hatching lil' cuckoos left and right. I love the color!

We need to try the tiny clip thing. We tried a tiny horse braid band for the roo and he thought he was dying. He went completely limp in my arms and we (daughter and I) just looked at each other in horror. When we tood the rubber band back out he shook his head and walked away. I never thought about the tiny clips. We need to try that. I have a whole flock of mixed up silkie/frizzles that are just getting their poufs, we might need a whole bunch of clips. I hope anyway. We have one that is cukoo, I hope she turns out as nice as yours.
