I am looking to add golden or silver phoenix to my flock this year! But I live in the mountains of northwestern North Carolina and it gets really cold here in the winter! So I can only have birds that are at least somewhat cold tolerant! My chicken coop is fairly insulated and to be honest if I cent these they will have a specially designed coop dust for them to accommodate the males long tale! But I'm just wondering if anyone else out there is raising the phoenix on cold climates?
