Silver East Indy call ducks?

idunno.gif
I can't say I have ever heard of those. I have BEI's.

Calls are one breed, East Indies are another. An East Indie Call would be a cross of the 2 breeds. East Indies come in 2 colours; black & blue.

I'm thinking about picking these guys up. I have a black east indie drake who lost his girlfriend recently and I can't find another person with black east indies.

I asked the seller if the were calls or east indies and she said they are silver east indies and if bred to a black will give me blues.

Waste of time, ya think??

I wish I knew what they looked like before making the drive...heading there tomorrow.

Please post pictures when you get them.
I've only heard of Black and Blue EIs, so I'll be curious to see what they look like.

I will be sure to post a pic. I'm picking them up tomorrow. Seems like a nice lady. I stopped and bought a 60 gallon stock tank and heater for them so they can have a nice place to swim around. I'm getting ducklings from Holderreads in April, so I'm going to have ducks coming outta my ears pretty soon!

That sounds like a lot of fun! The more the merrier with ducks.
I love my stock tank and so do the ducks.

From what I understand the colour silver in ducks is Splash. So you will get silver EI ducks if you cross 2 blues. From the sounds of it thats what they are.

Riddle me this one batman....

Check out the ones I just purchased today.
I listed it on a separate topic...

These were in with a solid black EI duck, do you think any of them could be mixes?

There's our breeding info on there. With what we have, these are new guys, history unknown. Going by what colors we have and the combo colors we have gotten from them... Good luck and can't wait to see pics! To see if I have anything remotely close.
