Napoleon nickered softly, looking at the foal. But then he heard Sugar.

" SKY NO!" Sugar cried and galloped over to Napoleon, pounding her hard sharp hoofs on his back.

Napoleon turned and lunged himself into Sugar's front.

"Sugar!" Sky said, giveing her a meaningful look, backing up another step

Sugar felt the bit to her chest. She had a plan. It's easier to snake out mares if they are injured and can fight that well, right? Sugar took small shallow breaths, pain actually filling in her chest.
