Mage wandered a bit further away and laid down at the base of an old tree. She rested her head on the ground and watched the other horses.

Kai laughed and walked under the shade of the leafy trees that flanked them on both sides. A sweet smell permeated the air from two apple trees that stood in the middle of Kai's hidden place. She looked back at him. "Although, I think my version of getting acquainted and yours are very different." She teased. The stream ran through one side and shade trees protected it from the rest of the world.

Once Nightshade had regained a little of her strength and Velvet could keep up with her, she walked out with Charming and looked around for Dez and Nyx.

Nyx shrugged when Dez asked what she had eaten. "I don't know. Something over there." She gestured with her head back in the direction she had just come from. She smiled at him and gently nudged him her nose. Nyx spotted movement and turned to see her mom with her new foal. "Mommy!" She called out and ran over. She got sidetracked and started sniffing the new foal. Nyx could smell the milk on his breath. "What's his name?" She asked curiously. Her mom told her and she nodded thinking it was a nice name.

Killer smiled,slightly embarrassed. He stepped in beside her. He looked at the sky,with washboard clouds and a storm heavy breeze that swirled the scent of the apple blossoms into a spring smell.

Coiffed heard Slynella and Chinook . He walked over to them and nuzzled them Both.


Sugar squealed in fright and fan faster.

Chinook pulled away to run with the other horses.

Slynella nuzzled him back and nickered. "I relish your attention." she said quietly. She cursed herself inwardly. Now he probably thinks I'm a selfish brat! she thought.

"Then you find a new meaning for life." Lyric said and turned to look out at the land. "Maybe he will be back, maybe he won't, I don't know. I just know that I don't trust them and have gone too far to ever go back again." She added, then started walking.

"Hello, Caleb" Flicka said then looked back to Echo "Alright"

Caleb followed the mares,starstruck,as if he was a young colt with a crush.

Sky didn't stop galloping. She heard Sugar behind her. Sky was still going up the hill

Dez heard them coming back, he nickered to them.

Streak sighed and whinnied to her stallion. She perked her ears and flared her nostrils,waiting for a reply. There wouldn't be one. He probably wouldn't come back,or even whinny. What was the point? Every second she was becoming more convinsed her had wanted her for one reason alone.

(It means to really want,enjoy and savor for a long time. Kinda like chocolate (lol) except with love,or attention.)

Slynella sighed. "I mean,I really like you're attention. You seem so busy now these days."

Sugar looked at her. She needed to know how evil Napoleon just was. She half reared and galloped quickly to her.

Streak lifted her head and blinked. A storm was rolling in,and It wasn't just in the sky. She suddenly heard hoof-beats. Was in Nap? Was he coming back to her? Did he really care? Streak lashed her tail excitedly and whinnied,ending in a nickering grunt.

Flicka looked to Caleb and smiled

If horses could blush,that's what Caleb would be doing. He head his head embarrassed.
