Hey I'm selling 6 month old Sil go link hens to a friend and was wandering how much they are worth. I heard newly laying hens are worth anywhere from $15-$25 is that true?

Here, in rural northern Michigan, there is a glass ceiling for pullets and it is right about $12-$14. Hope that gives you a target range. Every area is different so even if you got 47 replies to your inquiry, you're gonna have to go ahead test your local market.
It's fall and feed prices are jumping. In places, folks are reporting a glut of birds on the market with nothing moving. Others are still reporting solid demand. There's just no way of knowing your local market. Best wishes for a successful sale.
