Somewhere between here and there.
OK, so I have 4 Silver Grey Dorkings, and they are 3 weeks old and already their backs and wings are fully feathered. Their chest feathers are just starting to come in. I was wondering, is it obvious at this age what are hens and what are roos?

Pictures:

All four silver grey dorkings... plus two Salmon Faveroles adding color to the scene. :)

Another picture with all four birds... showing the head of each.

Bird #1 who has different chest feathers than the other three.

Bird #2

Bird #3

Bird #4

Last picture... I'm not sure if this is bird #2, #3, or #4... but it shows how the chest feathers are different from bird #1.

lol - hate to say it for fear I'll sound like a know it all, but I thought so! :p
I figured it was probably either a mixed up pullet or a cockerel. in other words, i didnt know what it was!! Thanks!

I’m wondering the same thing. I have a dorking that’s a month old but the waddles are starting to show, has the brown chest feathers not black but was trying to get a head of the game on sexing lol
