Okay I am normally really good about telling whether my chick is a pullet or a rooster however the Polish is giving me confusion. These pictures were taken after the rain so the feathers on top of the head are rounder than they look however I'm not sure if I'm seeing sickle feathers on the tail or not? And I'm starting to get some pink around the face at 10 weeks old. Also these are terrible pictures because these two young chicks hate me

I see the sickle feathers.... 💔 I recently got a polish. I don't know the sex yet either. Her feathers are low on her head. She was pecked pretty hard, and o needed to clean it. If any of mine turn out to be roosters, I have to rehome. I have a rooster, and he's the only one I want.

10 weeks is typically too early for male specific feathers, they usually don't come in until 14-17 weeks.
However, that head poof is looking pretty shaggy.

I started spotting mine early. Before 14 weeks. Thin, curved feathers above his tail feathers. 9-10 weeks.

The only confusion I have about the feathers on the head is that it just rained. And also I did a trim around the face. So I'm not 100% sure about the head feathers

Do you have any pictures without the rain?
Also clear pictures of the face and side view would be helpful.

Head feathers were the same. He's currently 13 weeks, and I posted that photo above. Here it is again though. Full body- took it yesterday.

100% sure this polish is a cockerel. Not just the saddle feathers but also the tail and the crest and the patterning. A pullet would have clearer lacing. This pattern distribution is typical of males.

Not at this time I will try to get some this evening. I can't get this chicken to sit still it doesn't like me it freaks out. It's never like me
