I have recently hatch 3 silver laced wyandotte bantams and one is showing a double laced pattern. Is this common or a new throw off?
Not sure on sex they are now seven weeks old any hints will be helpfull. Thanks.

Beautiful bird. You could post individual photos of your birds - side and front view at
"what gender or breed is this." I'm not familiar with the breed so I don't know if double lacing is common or not. I'm sure someone coming along after me will have more to tell you.

Many thanks for your reply. I have posted the pictures in the thread you suggested. I am new to wyandottes and silver laced birds so not sure if it is an undesired throw off or an lovely new line. I can not wait to see how the birds change with their next feathers over the next few weeks.
