Silver Laced Wyandotte Chick?

Is she a Silver Laced Wyandotte? I got her last night and that's what she was labeled. Hoping she is! Thanks, prose_15

I have one Silver Laced Wyandotte in my six week old flock. Yours looks very much like mine did about 5 weeks ago. I am no expert, the six chicks I have are my first, but I would say yes!

Yay! She had a rough night, but seems to be doing good! Her comb is a single instead of a rose though. What are yours?

My silver looked a lot like yours 5 weeks ago. Today she looks quite different. In the second and third weeks you could see streaks of silver feathers developing on her wings. At 5 weeks, silver on her head and scarf really came in. Today her head and back look like this... She's the one in the middle



Sorry for the iPhone picture, but you can see a huge difference between the few days old black cutie and the 6 week old chick. I'll put other pictures up after I take some with a real camera. They grow up so fast!

Yes, they do! She has bars on her wing. Did yours also have that when she was little? Thank you so much for the help... Kinda thought no one would reply.

She looks to have a white spot on her head? That means she's barred or cuckoo, not laced. From the leg color my guess is cuckoo Marans.
