We have 2 (supposed to be) Silver Laced Wyandottes that are approximately 16-18 weeks old. We're new at this, of course. Purchased as pullets......wondering if they are. Also, is this what an immature SLW looks like?
You have two handsome silver laced Wyandotte cockerels. You can see the larger, redder combs, plus the hackle and saddle feathers hanging down from the neck and in front of the tail....hens don't get those. Here's a pic of a slw hen from feathersite....
You can really see the difference in feather pattern from the female and your males.
