My silver laced Wyandotte pullet chick has almost no color but black... Only like 3 white marks on each wing, and they aren't even close to centered... Is this normal? She is like 4 weeks. This is her, I can get more recent pictures!

yup, that is normal to not have lacing at such a young age, it will come in as it gets older
thank you! These are my first laced birds, so I wasn't sure... She isn't Amazing quaility, but she isn't bad at all.Where did you get her? She could be poor quality. All chicks are different though so she will get her laces soon enough
she has some feathers out... I just took these:Her feathers haven't come in yet. Mine never got their laces until they got their feathers in. Give it time, she will look completely different once she feathers out.
thanks... I hope she does! I was so excited to have that gorgeous lacing in my flock! She is from North 40... They usually have really decent stock for a feed store.. she matches all the breed requirements... Exept the lacing so far..I also got a blue laced red Wyandotte... It actually already has lacing! Same age, same place. That's pretty normal for them, but I would expect to see some more "lacing" at that age. She may not be laced well as an adult, but she may molt out and surprise us all.
thanks.. I hope she gets beautiful! Though I'll love her anyway!I think it's normal, I have a golden laced Wyandotte chick who is very dark as well. She is three weeks old and just now starting to show pattern.
