I’m impatiently waiting on my 23 week old silver laced wyandottes to start laying. How old were yours when they started?

I had 5 Blue Wynadottes that were given to me when they were about 6months, not laying, they started at 8 months ... Watch for RED combs/wattles which will be a sign, then when they start squatting for you, the eggs should be coming within weeks. To know who's laying, measure the space between the pelvic bones, 2+ finger span means they're laying.

They were fed Layer but I feed Flock Raiser/fermented with Oyster Shells in a separate dish, along with another dish of grit.

I found the squatting to be the best sign for my birds, within 10 days of first squat is what most of mine were- earliest was at 24 weeks (not a wyandotte)
