Silver Laced Wyondette- 6 weeks

It has a little pink in the comb (which hasnt changed much), but feathered FAST!! Im confused

Thanks, are you judging by the comb or by the feathers or both? I have red that their combs can "pink" early in this breed, but alot of folks have talked about feather color.

I'd say pullet, she looks just like mine did at the same age. I have 4 SLWs (1 cockeral and 3 pullets.) By 5 weeks it was obvious which was which.

I'd guess pullet also. I have 8 GLW's that are 10 weeks and my hens's combs looked like that at that age. 8>

Comb looks to be leaning pullet but the lack of feathering concerns me, my girls where much more feathered in by 6 weeks. Here is a pic of mine at 7 weeks.

Here are a few of my SLW's at about 6 weeks of age. No close ups...

I had 3 or so that had redish combs coming in.

I am so glad you shared these pics! I have six SLW chicks, and I was thinking I had two pullets, and four cockerels, but now, I'm thinking I have more girls.......(Hoping, anyhow....)
