Silver Leghorn X RIR fresh chicks!

Well one made it all the way to hatch day and didnt externally pip, but two are alive and well! I'm guessing it's too early to tell on these two, but I did notice the left one has a darker pattern with more black in it. I havent been able to find much info of this cross online. I'm hoping at least one is female

I'll have more pictures as they get fluffier and older

I know when you cross a RIR roo, with a white leghorn hen, males are white and females are red, so I don't know if that holds true to your cross, but it may be a good guideline.

I've heard that as well, but that it's not the same in reverse. All 3 had this scheme

I imagine that is why I have not been able to find much info about them. Thanks!
