"Sure!" Dyra quickly spoke up. "And who knows, maybe we'll meet up with my brother Kokadjo. Hey, and if we do, perhaps you wouldn't mind helping me to try and convince him to join the pack? I've been trying for a long time now, but nothing has convinced him yet." Dyra paused, then contuied, "So, what do you say? Think you could help should we cross paths with him?" Dyra wagged her tail.

Shrike narrowed his eyes a little, catching only part of what she said, "I didn't know you had a brother. And one that isn't in the pack! Why..." He trailed off.

"Yes!" Dyra barked excitedly. "I'm hoping that he'll join the pack soon. That's why I've been trying so hard to convince him!" Dyra walked close to Shrike and whispered, "The only sign of hope I've seen yet, is I think that he might have a small crush on Swift."

Shrike couldn't hide his suprise, "How does he have a- a- you know? How has he seen our alpha if he's not is the pack?! Does Swift know, was he spying on us?!"

Dyra stood up proudly. "Last time I went to Kokadjo, she came along. As she left, I saw him watch her like he liked her."

"But how can... what if..." He finished the questions in his head. What if Swift likes him back? What if a loner ends up as our alpha?! Shrike shuddered inwardly. "I'm sorry. I had no idea anything of this sort was happening." Shrike finished.

"Yeah," Dyra looked up dreamingly with a happy smile on her face. "Be kinda cool and amazing if they did get together. Just think! My brother would be an Alpha if they got together!"
