Dune stood behind jasmine, but to the side, she realized she probably didn’t need to cause trouble but wasn’t going to admit it.
*star bright watched them to see what their reactions would be to what she said.*
Dune rolled her eyes, “ if I ever catch you on pack territory…I won’t hesitate to pin you again.”

Dune stepped closer. “ if you really are here to join MY pack, then why do you stay on the outskirts? Surely you knew you’d be found?” She asked, keeping herself calm and trying to soften her voice.

Star bright: my den is actually in the center of my old pack's territory. This is just where I happened to take the deer down. *she had a sad tone when she mentioned her former pack.*

Dune kept quite, she knew what it was like not having a pack and it wasn’t fun. She was so Afraid of loners mostly because of the thoughts she had when she used to be alone.

Swift smiled kindly at him. "Don't worry, Kokadjo. I'm not going to force you to join my pack. I just thought I'd let you know you're welcome to find a spot anytime." She through him an admiring glance, then turned and trotted back to camp - her tail swishing behind her. "Oh great!" she thought, "now I have a crush on him...." she sighed inwardly.
Kokadjo shook his head when he heard what Swift said. He was going to give Dyra a disappointed grawl when he spotted Swift's admiring glace. He tilted his head. A smile snuck out as he watched Swift head back to camp. He forgot all about Dyra even being there. He actually almost fell out of his tree but caught himself before he did.
Dyra saw everything. She smiled and thought, "Well, maybe there is still hope." Before she left, she said something that looked and sounded like she was talking to herself, but she made certain that it was loud enough for Kokadjo to hear it. "Sign," Dyra sighed. "Such a beautiful wolf. Someday she'll make some wolf a beautiful mate." Dyra sighed again. Then she looked up at Kokadjo and said, "Well, I probably should get going. See you around." With that she trotted off. With her back towards where her brother was, she smiled to herself. She knew what she said. Maybe, just maybe, her brother will come because of the Alpha. A small worry came to her mind, though. What if only pack members that's been in the pack for a long time can become an Alpha? She worried.
