I am on a great hen hunt.
My mother's admired Silver Sebright finally succumbed to old age this past autumn and my father, while trying to figure a way to surprise a woman not easy to surprise for Christmas, thought to purchase her a new hen. This is a difficult task this time of year and, especially, on such short notice.
We are in the Cleveland and Columbus areas of Ohio and wish just one hen of any age (as long as not ancient and decrepit) of the Bantam Silver Sebright variety. If anyone has such a thing, please let me know just as soon as you are able!
