It has definitely been frustrating to say the least the first batch we got 5 out of 6 were cockerel we had to re home 3 now one that we kept the barred cochin roo has to go cause he has been viciously attacking me and my daughters. And now we have another I really hope we can manage it because it's my youngest ones and she loves it so much

You're chances may be better if he's the only male as he wouldn't be trying to prove himself to the othrr boys and be sure to correct unwanted behavior while he's still young so he learns to be respectful of humans early on.


Based on your photo alone, he seems quite content being held, especially by a little one and taking his breed into account, that's saying a lot.
