Silver speckled hens not coming out of coop

I just got 2 hens that are 8 months old. They haven't left their coop to go enjoy the 4x10 run attached to their coop. They have been in the coop for 3 days. Is this normal?

I too am a newbie, but it seems to me if you coax them out with food they may be inclined to go exploring.

Welcome! They are freaked out by the move, and will come out when they are ready. Spreading a little scratch feed in the run will encourage them, and just be patient. Mary
