I saw where it had been prescribed by a vet for flystrike on a link suggested by another member for my chicken with flystrike. This picture is from a couple of days ago. It is a bit better now. I am using neosporin and injected penicillin. 7th day on penicillin today. I also need to know if I should stop that now or go on for 10 days?

Silver sulfadiazine is good but I haven’t found it without a prescription.

Sulfadene is really good for 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I think Vetericyn and plain Neosporin work well for flystrike.
Procaine penicillin G is usually only given for 4-5 days in chickens. Is that the type you are using?

amazing that you can buy injectable penicillin at tractor supply but need a prescription for a topical.

Yes, It is Durvet Penicillin G Procaine. I had planned to give for 4 days but some other knowledgable folks on the forum said to go longer.

Actually they both say that a prescription is required.
