Silver Wyandotte male or female? Help!!

This is a Silver Sebright, not a Wyandotte. And definite cockerel.

Thanku for the help on sending pics...hope this helps.i got them from a farm supply store. Ive always gotten my chickens from breeders but they told me they were silver wynadotte females...theyre loud..run around crazy..very hyper.

Feed stores, more often than not, mix up the chicks and label the breeds Incorrectly.

It seems farm stores/employees are always getting breeds mixed up, or even wrong. It's hard to trust their judgement, unfortunately.

Another difference: Wyandottes are often large fowl (those sold at feed stores, anyway), whereas Sebrights are a true bantam. He's going to be one teeny man.

Thats what i get for buying from a farm store. Im scared to introduce them to my other babies i had to seperate them from my other babies since the male is so aggresive..if hes this bad now im in for a ride as he grows..i have 2 large coops woth large runs. I guess ill have to keep them in theyre own coop when theyre big enough. Tjanku everyone for all the info.

They definitely grow slow..my other breeds are twice theyre size and i got them at the same time.

That's not a silver laced wyandotte..... sebright (or am I mistaken and he's a hamburg) cockerel..
body shape and coloring at this age is all wrong for a wyandotte

I agree that looks like a male sebright.

Not all feed store experiences are bad. Hope you can find an arrangement that keeps the peace in your flock.
They're growing more slowly because they'll be much smaller at maturity (provided the rest are Sebrights like said cockerel).

Sebrights are bantams.
They will always be much smaller than standard sized chickens.
