Anyone with Silverudds (old name Blue Isbar) know at what age they typically start laying? I cannot find anything at all on line when this breed starts to lay. I just want to make sure they are on track with others birds.

How old are they?
If you are in the northern hemisphere, right now are the shortest days of the year so that will usually delay onset for an unknown period but days will be getting longer soon so that will kick start them if they are old enough.
I haven't had them but I would think isbars would start laying in the 5-6.5 month range depending on time of year. They are supposed to be good cold weather layers.

That's what I was thinking, they are a week over 7 months old. I really thought they'd lay around 6 just in time.

When did they lay? What color were the eggs?!
We just got our first Silverrudds Blue egg yesterday! I got her because she's a good winter layer and she lays a beautiful green speckled egg. The one we got is dark green with brown and white speckles! I have the green comparison next to our leghorn egg.

I just hatched out 2. I have had them before, They lay a big mint colored egg, and they lay often as I recall. That is why I chose to hatch them.
Below is one I had a few years back, and her egg.
