The one on the roost looks to have a straight comb. It may be a smaller comb like the later imports, but it is too early to tell. I would need a close up to comment about the others.

To me it looks like a rose or strawberry comb?? They're just so different from my other little roo.....

Thoughts on this supposed too. He is almost 5 months & has no crowed or exhibited any roo behaviors. He/she is currently in with 3 hens.

Love to see pictures of these birds....just can't see enough of them -- so keep posting.
Regarding the one that hasn't crowed. It would be interesting to have some Silverudd's Blue Isbar experts weigh in -- because -- the comb is larg-ish -- but there are no saddle feathers, and the hackles would be pointed feathers if it were a male -- right? But the coloring/markings look very much like a growing-out cockerel. Females seem to develop more like the second picture in your post... but I just don't know enough about our breed yet.

Our first pair of Silverudds Blues are 4 months old now. Do they look like they have good genes as far as what we believe Silverudds Blues are supposed to look like?
