my dog snoring by my feet
day break on the river fishing (not catching)
listening to my hound dog howling ( I just love that sound)
Watching my chickens (always)
and some good banjo pickin

I love all the post!!! I figured I would add some more for today.

1) Riding beside my DH in his four-wheel drive Chevy like we were teenagers again.
2) Hand feeding the calves.
3) My dogs sleeping by my feet keeping them warm.
4) The smell of fresh brewed coffee.
5) Listening to my RIR rooster crow.

hubby and I are animal lovers; we get thrills watching and counting the wild birds that come to snitch the excess chicken feed( purposely dropped as we carry it to the feeders.)
Our 2 dogs are Jack Russell Terriers, bundles of bravery and barking !
Hubby swears these dogs bark "at a fart in the wind."

They sleep deeply whenever we have unwelcome visitors!
